Hispanic and Latino Welcome Program
Lutheran’s Hispanic and Latino Welcome Program strives to satisfy the cultural and linguistic needs of our Spanish-speaking patients and their families and provide them with a sense of belonging.
Lutheran’s Hispanic and Latino Welcome Program features include:
- Spanish-speaking caregivers and other non-direct care Center staff
- Contracted interpreter services available if indicated
- Spanish TV channels
- Spanish language book and video library along with newspapers and magazines available upon request
- Hispanic and Latino cuisine offerings
- Culturally appropriate entertainment, activities, and spiritual programs
- Visitor support for family and caregivers with encouragement of involvement and volunteer opportunities
